This is a plug-in for Visual Studio.NET to access all the source control features of a CVS server within the VS.NET IDE.

This is version 1.03 (Sept 4, 2001). The newest version can be found at .

Jalindi Igloo is a program that allows you to connect Microsoft Visual Studio and other IDEs directly to a CVS repository. The program is completely free and can be used anyway you like.

The product consists of a file called igloo.dll which is a connectivity module between visual studio or any SCCAPI compliant IDEs and the cvs2ntslib.dll that is supplied with CVS for NT.

Jalindi Igloo behaves in a similar way to Visual Source Safe when integrated with each IDE. It compliments WinCVS.

(5*) This is a really useful tool. I have been looking for something like this for a while.

Does this interfere with Visual Source Safe or can both work together nicely?

Very good tool.

An SCC provider for CVS was exactly what I needed for my repo! I haven't tried it yet, but if Andrew likes it, I'm sure it'll be good enough at least. I found one other quite some time ago from cvshome.org, and it was only about 50% implemented and what was implemented wasn't that good.

Well... this is the only CVS client I can find that intefaces with Visual Studio. I can't really use source safe because that only works on local networks.

Also... if people want a CVS repository based on NT, you can download stuff here:
