I also am impressed. I do have one wish though...that I would start in "my hood" whenever I come to the page logged in, either initially or otherwise.
So far, though, the site looks really great. The functionality (as oppposed to a simple sharepoint site) is really outstanding. Kudos to the Beavers :-)

That's a really good suggestion Benjamin. We'll definitely consider doing that. I guess for now, you can set it to log you into Passport automatically and bookmark the myHood page.

This site looks great. Keep up the good work. This is really going to help me and the rest of the students at UofT out :)

I think this is way cool. Bring on the experience points!
P.S. Do we have, like hit points and stuff too?

Unfortunately, we don't have hit points to go beat up on other characters with

But it would be so cool if there were a Devhood game where you'd use your character. If only we had more time and less school...

I agreed too. It would be really fun to have a game to gain experience points:)

Are you serious? This site is fast? hahaa actually I'm surprised by that one, especially since the server is sitting in my dorm room closet along with my mini refridgerator and another computer. Needless to say it gets quite hot in there. And the internet connection is just split 4 ways using a plain 10bt hub.
Maybe I'll take a picture and post it for you guys. It's quite interesting. For those who don't think it's quite that fast, we're moving the server to the MIT data center soon, so hopefully that will speed things up.

Haha...the truth comes out. I was going to start a thread about the performance issues, but I was too embarassed to mention that we're running out of Peter's closet. I'm also surprised Peter posted this because if the MIT people find out then I think we might get in trouble. Anyway, if you think the site if fast now, it's going to be flying when we move to 100Mbt connection.

Yeah whatever, we're about to move it out soon anyway.
Hahah I speak now but if I do get in trouble and they take away my internet privelages then I might be doing devhood work over a modem connection for the rest of the school year.
