About Us
DevHood was created by six students at MIT who had nothing better to do than to create a developer’s community using .NET. Actually it was really more of a proof of concept for the 2001 MIT $50K Entrepreneurial Competition. We actually got into the semifinals with our alpha version of the site so that was pretty exciting. What’s even more exciting is that you are using it right now!
Below you can learn more about the creators and feel free to email them with any questions, or comments. |

In his free time, he tries to do lots of things. This means he never has enough free time, but on the flip side, he rarely feels bored. Mainly, he hangs out with his girlfriend or has heated debates about random issues with his apartment-mates. Anything from the current political situation to--most recently--whether or not "weird" has a bad connotation. |
Thoughts: |
"Probably my favorite parts about this entire Devhood adventure are the Saturday afternoons that we all sat around in the Next House dorm lounge trying to come up with good ideas. We'd order Quan's kitchen, trickle into the lounge and start discussing one crazy idea after another." |
Mission Statement
DevHood was created for all .NET developers as a place for reference, a place to share their knowledge, and a place to interact with their peers.
- Reference – Developers looking to complete a specific task should be able to find help easily and quickly without having to trudge through mountains of irrelevant information.
- Knowledge Sharing – Developers wanting to share their knowledge and experiences should be encouraged to do so and the process should be quick and painless.
- Interaction – DevHood should develop a sense of community among users, offering them an opportunity to give each other feedback and foster friendly competition.
To help us achieve these goals, we appreciate any feedback that you may have.
