His research work over the past 25 years has included parallel processing, programming languages, programming environments, computer security and collaborative systems. In addition, he created and managed the Technology and Society Domain at the World Wide Web Consortium , where he dealt with issues of child protection (PICS), privacy protection (P3P), security and trust management, electronic commerce, and accessibility. I don't find the presentation easy to follow because of the obvious absence of the main part of the presentation: Dr. Miller himself.
