Regex Tester is a simple tool that allows you to test your regular expressions. It is written using C# and the System.Text.RegularExpressions namespace. This is a good tool to use after reading the Regular Expressions tutorial on this site, because you can try it yourself.

The reason I wrote this for myself was so that I could check my regular expressions without having to change code and recompile all the time. This probably saved me 10+ minutes each session as well as easing some frustration. I thought others might find it helpful as well.

Actually, since it was written with Windows Forms, you could just drop it into a web page. I'll send the source to anyone who wants it (although you could probably write it yourself in 30 minutes or so).
